With a first class science degree, ITEC diplomas and Personal Trainer qualifications, Laura offers an all-round approach to health and fitness. Sessions provided are based on progressive functional movement but targeted to individuals dependent on their specific goals. That may include cardiovascular fitness, strength training, muscle toning, posture improvement, balance, core stability or general weight loss. Each client has their own program designed by Laura to ensure they get the results they desire.
Laura also offers treatment massage for both specific issues or as a maintenance regular session. She is a qualified UKA Run Leader with a local running club (Run Henley) that meets every Tuesday evening. In addition Laura has a separate speciality for training horse-riders (Equifit Training). Improving strength, balance, core stability and coordination off the horse can have considerable positive effects on your riding and the horse’s way of going.
A personal note from Laura:
I have always loved being active and my hobbies include running, cycling, horse-riding, skiing, martial arts, sailing and scuba diving amongst many others. I understand the perseverance, determination and effort required to reach your goals and the amazing feeling of achievement once you get there. Becoming a personal trainer combined everything I deeply enjoy into a profession I can share with others. I love my job because I passionately enjoy helping people, supporting them when they step outside their comfort zones, and turning fitness into a fun activity.
